Thanks for this review and for the quick and easy solution,
probably you saved my projects on sysctl.
I am busy on another project/topic so I cannot study the change
for updating them:

sysutils/sysctlinfo-kmod
sysutils/sysctlbyname-improved-kmod
devel/libsysctlmibinfo
devel/libsysctlmibinfo2
deskutils/sysctlview
sysutils/nsysctl
audio/mixertui
...others (probably) next year.

This is not the first time that a change impacts on them.
Probably, we could create a group, a task force or to discuss in a
devsummit a stable sysctl MIB-tree structure and exploring interface.

Obviously I am interested in participating and collaborating.
