The branch main has been updated by imp: URL: https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/src/commit/?id=574763f1a7dac0594d2d913b4b6afc2f96a71f49 commit 574763f1a7dac0594d2d913b4b6afc2f96a71f49 Author: Warner Losh <imp@FreeBSD.org> AuthorDate: 2021-12-14 21:54:10 +0000 Commit: Warner Losh <imp@FreeBSD.org> CommitDate: 2021-12-14 22:27:47 +0000 rtsold: Note network interfaces changing index when removed/inserted Remove reference to PCMCIA. The issue is more generic than that. Also, it does apply to FreeBSD, so no need to hedge about some OSes. The index won't change if no other interfaces are created after the card is removed, so note that it may change, not will change.
