Which according to https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/committers-guide/#_tier_2_developmental_and_niche_architectures means that we guarantee basic support for ports. GCC 8 has been unsupported upstream since long time. Since neither GCC nor us actually fully support powerpcspe, I would say on the contrary that it is about time that this port expires. Of course Mk/bsd.default-versions.mk should be patched too however. Cheers, Lorenzo Salvadore
