Moin moin To cut in on this discussion: as my message to ports@ hinted, portmgr is intending to get rid of those lines completely in the next months. We have a version control system, and attribution to the original creators is, and will always be there. For the reasoning: A person just glancing at makefiles will do wrong attribution, when the 'Created by' line is there, as they don't necessarily have the history.
