Yes it should. After being stuck on 1.2 for years, the project was forked and the new maintainer released 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 all within about 48 hours. There still seem to be some issues, see https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=269298, but those could be due to the python upgrade. So given the new release process, applying these patches to the -devel port is very welcome to be able to actually test if things are stable. I’ll do some more thorough real-world testing myself and, once done, update devel/iocage. Cheers (& thanks Neel!)
