At least that's what I've been doing in the past. Even though
you will need to install a lot of X-relasted stuff because
those are install dependencies, you can then use the headless
program calls (e. g., "libreoffice --headless ...").

If you don't need to use the language-dependent features,
go with the regular "libreoffice" package, less stuff to
install, more space to store actual data. ;-)
