You misunderstood me. I did not apply the patch. I'm running 6.5, which already
has the patch. Whatever the patch does, does not work with 14-CURRENT's OpenSSL
3.0.

Python has been rebuilt since then. I can try forcing a rebuild again in my
poudriere.
