            Bug ID: 270803
Summary: net/rsync/ manpage has typo in url
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: freebsd@crontab.pw

In the manpage for rsync(1), under the SYNOPSIS heading there is a link to the
online version of the manpage. At the end of the URL, there is a dot (.)
appended to the url.

While reading the FreeBSD manpage
(https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=rsync&sektion=1) if you click on the
link with the appended dot in the manpage, users will be forwarded to a Site
Not Found error.

To correct this, the trailing dot would need to be removed and the URL will
forward users to the correct online manpage
