i do not know anything about how the pkg.freebsd.org pkgbase builds work
(since i don't use them), but if they are similar to the ports builds,
it might take several weeks for changes in src to be reflected in the
packages.

in this case, you might have skipped this problem entirely for now...
however, you *will* need to take action once pkg.freebsd.org builds
packages containing the relevant commits.

i appreciate this is not a very good situation -- fwiw, this is listed
as a known issue in pkgbase and i hope it will be solved before pkgbase
becomes the default (in 15.0-RELEASE, or whenever that happens).

for reference, the relevant dates of the commits are:

for cron: Mon Apr 22 16:05:53 2024 -0600
for lpr:  Fri Apr 19 16:53:30 2024 -0600
