** Prepare
------------------------------------------------------------
05.19-05.26.21
Around here, we're used to doing the heavy lifting.
Just about anything can be accomplished, but it takes skilled labor, education and preparation. We can learn a lot from bees on World Bee Day, you can study the multidimensionality and fluidity of Afrofuturism in an online series called Spaceways, and the Metroparks Zoo hosts Aloha Hawaii, free with admission.

After more than a year, our art galleries are starting to re-socialize with openings at ArtNEO, HEDGE and 78th Street Studios, while the online 48 Hour Virtual Music Fest attracts artists you know and some you probably don't.

We celebrate Bob Dylan's 80th by raising money for Cleveland Verses, to benefit area musicians and venue workers still suffering from the pandemic. Our in-person show at BOP STOP is sold out, but the livestreamed Dylan 8.0 (https://coolcleveland.com/QMdcu) is open to all. Tix here. (https://coolcleveland.com/QMdcu) Prepare to light a candle and have some fun.

DYLAN 8.0 (https://coolcleveland.com/QMdcu)
------------------------------------------------------------
Bob Dylan turns 80 next Monday. He'll probably go down as the most influential musician of our time.

Cleveland Verses is a new nonprofit supporting area musicians and venue workers suffering from the pandemic, and our upcoming livestream Dylan 8.0 is donating to the cause. You can help.

The in-person show at BOP STOP is sold out, but the livestream is available to all. We'll hear from Dylanologist Clinton Heylin (7 books on Dylan and counting), plus Daniel Goldmark, CWRU's head of popular music. Plus lots of Dylan music from the likes of The Modern Electric, Papi and the Smears, Vanity Crash and Jenna Fornier. Join us. Read More (https://coolcleveland.com/QMdcu)
